Cavs try to adjust on both ends after Game 1 beating

Reminiscent of last season's Finals - after James' men fell 3-1 behind before rallying to clinch their first championship - the Cavs head back to Cleveland for game three on Wednesday. If you are not in Golden State's locker room, though, you might see it differently. "Thirty-eight, eight, eight, zero turnovers?"

"I mean, it's no if, ands, or buts".

But LeBron put the Cavs on his back - reminiscent of last year's Finals - and it was his 18 points and 10 rebounds that had Cleveland down just three, 67-64, at the half.

Coach Steve Kerr had hoped to be on the bench for Games 1, but opted to stay in the locker room as he continues to recover from difficulties from his back surgery nearly two years ago.

In last year's Finals, the Cavaliers lost Games 1 and 2 by a combined 48 points before taking Game 3 by 30 points. "Just get focused on Game 2", James told reporters. There's nothing really needs to be said. "We just have to figure out how to be better".

"We play that same game in Cleveland, there's no way we win", said Kerr.

So the Cavaliers cleared out and posted up Kevin Love on the thinner Kevin Durant, who spent part of Game 2 serving as the Warriors' small-ball center. The total sit the betting board as 221.5 and has dropped down to 220.5. And his defense is the reason why we we're one of the best defensive teams in the league as well.

They have to do it quickly or Cavs-Warriors III could end up being a much shorter series than the first two editions of the Finals trilogy that the teams split.

Green shared the postgame press conference table with Kevin Durant, and both players were initially perturbed at a question about Green restraining himself emotionally. The betting market does not think Cleveland will bounce back in Game 2 on Sunday night.

Forget all the things Cleveland did wrong offensively in Game 1 - the poor shooting, the 20 turnovers and how the bench basically contributed nothing. - Covers Expert Steve Merril.

Golden State, the NBA's most potent offense, shot just 42.5 percent from the field (45-of-106) but was enough as Durant fashioned out a brilliant all-around performance with 38 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists.

LeBron James produced a triple-double for the Cavs with 29 points, 14 assists and 11 rebounds.

"He's a great player", Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue said. He led the Cavaliers or tied for the lead in several categories and, in what should stand as one of the impressive stats, played another 39 minutes at an elite level.

"We can play better. If you make a mistake - like I said, we had a turnover, it came from me, and then we had a miscue and the floods opened again". "At certain points we did that, but we have to do that throughout", Love said. Kevin Durant went off and the Cleveland Cavaliers turned it over far too many times to beat the more talented Warriors. "We have to defend, try to make it tough, knowing they have great scorers".

Who: Cleveland Cavaliers vs.

Warriors: The Warriors had their first 40-point quarter in the Finals since scoring 41 in the first quarter of Game 6 in 1967 against the 76ers.
