Broad City to bleep out Trump's name: 'No airtime for this orange'

Broad City to bleep out Trump's name: 'No airtime for this orange'”

It's really not much of a shock that some episodes of the fourth season revolved Hillary Clinton winning the presidency.

With the deeply horrifying mistake that is the Trump administration looking like it's here to stay (for now), the mostly-liberal entertainment industry is having to make some hard decisions as to how they address the current political climate.

"We bleep his name the whole season", Glazer added to USA Today.

Season 4 of "Broad City" will premiere in August. They, like many, many other people, thought Hillary Clinton would win, and they even had Clinton on the show for Season 3.

"There's no airtime for this orange [person]", in season four of the show, actress Ilana Glazer told USA Today.

To be fair, series creators Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson were caught off guard when Trump won the 2016 election.

"Broad City" is upping George Carlin's famous list of "Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television" to eight.

Glazer claims that having Trump, i.e. a "game-show host", for POTUS necessitated extensive changes to the script and story line of season four of Broad City.

Glazer said season four, which launches in August, is "deeply rooted in this time" and was heavily influenced by the November 8 election.

In the new trailer for Season 4, which was released last week, Glazer is heard saying Trump's name.

While Abbi and Ilana - fictional or otherwise - would've likely preferred to see Trump's political career a distant memory by now, we'll need their catchphrases, positive vibes and humor to get us through.
