Minor League Baseball Team In Jacksonville Is Giving Away Free Pregnancy Tests”

On one night, you might find yourself surrounded by dozens of nerds wearing Chewbacca masks, while on another night, you'll notice that the restrooms smell worse than my grandpa's medicine farts because it's "Asparagus Night".

The minor league baseball team will be handing out pregnancy tests at the ballpark.

On Thursday, June 15 for their game against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, Miami's Double-A affiliate, is hosting "You Might Be the Father's Day".

"It will be an evening filled with suspense, intrigue and manila envelopes", the team's website says.

Jumbo Shrimp General Manager Harold Craw told the The Florida Times-Union the idea popped up at a promotion meeting and stuck.

One would think that this promotion should go BEFORE the pregnancy test one, but no one asked me. "They're on their own".
