The wait is over, news regarding his next movie are out, the prestigious Roy Kapur Films, RSVP and Aamir Khan Productions have joined hands to come up with a decent biopic on India's first Astronaut Rakesh Sharma's, titled it "Salute".

Post the bang on the success of Aamir Khan's Dangal, people are now curiously waiting for the news of Aamir's next venture.

The biopic will be helmed by Mahesh Mathai, who is a well-known name in ad circles with several successful campaigns to his credit. Aamir Khan is now shooting for Thugs Of Hindostan in Malta with Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Meanwhile, Aamir has previously collaborated with Ronnie Screwvala on Delhi Belly and Peepli Live. However, Salute will be produced by Siddharth under his recently launched Roy Kapur Films.

At the moment, Aamir Khan is busy with Vijay Krishna Acharya's Thugs of Hindostan, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Katrina Kaif.

Aamir Khan was last seen in 2016's Dangal in the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat.

Reports also suggest that Aamir's on-screen daughter Fatima Sana Shaikh will also be a part of the movie.
