Adele Lends Support To Grenfell Tower Residents, After Devastating Fire”

The former X Factor judge continued to post videos on Instagram Story throughout the day, including one of her on her way to a help point.

Update 6/15, 11 a.m.: Rita Ora also joined in the efforts to hand out clothes, water, and food to people affected by the Grenfell Tower fire.

"The fact that Adele has gone to Grenfell tower and not said a word about it just proves how amazingly honest she is", a commenter wrote. I can't believe this is happening. My heart is beating so fast. I'm literally on the other side of the world and I want them to see our lights and to hear us.

The London-born pop star was spotted by Instagram user FourMee, who posted three blurry photographs.

The Syco boss and X Factor judge announced that stars including former 1D hunk Liam Payne, London grime star Stormzy and X Factor victor Louisa Johnson will cover Simon and Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water to raise money for those affected by the fire which ravaged a tower block in west London.

Meanwhile, comedians including Josie Long, Daniel Kitson and Mark Thomas have organised a fundraising evening "to gather in support of those affected by the devastating fire".

In the aftermath of the London Grenfell Tower fire, throngs of well-wishers and victims alike have been holding vigil near the fire site. But it is not enough to feel these things - we need to support those in need.

All proceeds from the event, hosted by Kitson at Battersea Arts Centre, will go to the Grenfell Tower Appeal.
