India's Kohli, Sharma collapse in Champions Trophy final

Hasan Ali is now leading the Champions Trophy 2017 wicket-takers tally with 10 scalps in four matches.

Pakistan's young batting sensation Fakhar Zaman hit his maiden ODI hundred as he continued to unleash attack on India's bowlers, keeping Pakistan in control after India won the toss and chose to field in the Champions Trophy finale at The Oval on Sunday.

He now tops the bowling charts with ten wickets and is gearing up to win the Golden Ball award in the tournament. I had set a goal for me during the West Indies series and it was to become the best bowler in the Champions Trophy. Hasan, a former Pakistan Navy trainee, scalped 13 wickets in the tournament, equalling the record of Jerome Taylor for taking most wickets in one edition. It was Hasan who took the winning wicket of the match and ensured Pakistan's historic victory.

He also credited for his fitness and hoping to continue in the same rhythm: "I have learnt from the beginning that fitness is important".

The pick of his dismissals was when Ben Stokes, fresh from his ODI best 102 not out in Australia in the group stage, was completely deceived by a slower ball that landed on a near yorker length and spooned a catch to mid-off.

Title-holders India, who thrashed Pakistan by 124 runs in their opening group match, were unchanged from the side that hammered Bangladesh by nine wickets in Thursday´s semi-final at Birmingham´s Edgbaston.

For his success in the marquee ICC tournament, Hasan credited Pakistan bowling coach Azhar Mahmood for helping him improve his bowling in English conditions.

"The mistakes we committed in the first game will not be repeated and we will try to execute the plans given by coaches", he added.

Hasan said he will be under no pressure for the final.

"It's a bit different", he said.

If he does, favourites India had better look out.
