Manchester United return is a possibility for Ronaldo

Manchester United return is a possibility for Ronaldo”

They had already been made aware of his fury earlier in the week when Madrid's regional state prosecutor publicly accused him of failing to pay the correct amount of tax over a four-year period from 2011 to 2014.

The Portugal star "feels great indignation" at all the speculation about his tax affairs and a sense of "injustice" at the allegations - which he contests - and has made a decision to leave Spain, reports The Guardian citing a source.

There have been varying reports of the severity of Ronaldo's desire to leave his current team. After winning the Champions League in May 2016, Ronaldo led Portugal to success in the Euro 2016.

Ronaldo would certainly not be short of suitors if he were to leave Madrid, and it seems clear he's determined to do so due to feeling undervalued by his club.

United remain one of the clubs with the financial muscle to offer a competitive package for Ronaldo - they are predicting record revenues of up to £570m this year - and his return would be a dream commercial move. A person can escape imprisonment if he sentenced for less that 24 months.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been left seething by the accusation he has "defrauded" €15million (£13m) from the Spanish taxman and has told Real Madrid he could leave Spain for good if he is convicted.

Scoring for Real Madrid in the recent Champions League final win over Juventus.

While sentences for first-time tax offenses in Spain are nearly always suspended, Ronaldo may face prison time if convicted since he is accused of owing significantly more than Messi did.

Gestifute, the company who manages Cristiano Ronaldo explained that the company named Tollin (a company started whilst Ronaldo was at Manchester) acted accordingly with tax laws. Other Real Madrid players like midfielder Xabi Alonso, defender Ricardo Carvalho and winger Angel Di Maria were also charged with tax evasion in December.

Manchester United will be hoping to make Morata their second summer signing after the Red Devils confirmed the capture of defender Victor Lindelof from Benfica last week.

"Since I was young I always wanted to reach high levels and play alongside him".
