Everton to make €20 million move for Jorgensen”

Danish publication BT claim Everton are looking to bolster their forward roster with first choice striker Romelu Lukaku expected to leave this summer, and Jorgensen could be brought in to replace the Belgium worldwide.

Everton have raced out of the blocks in terms of getting transfer targets tied down.

The Premier League club have already been busy in reinforcing this summer following the additions of goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and midfielder Davy Klaassen from Sunderland and Ajax respectively.

According to BT, Ronald Koeman has identified Jorgensen as a potential replacement and Everton are ready to lodge a €20 million bid with Feyenoord.

Jorgensen's agent Mikkel Nissen responded to the claims, saying: "There is a lot of interest, but I do not comment on specific clubs".

Is Jorgensen good enough to replace Lukaku?

If Lukaku does leave, then he has very big boots to fill, and there will be pressure on whoever comes into the club to take his place.

The 26-year-old impressed during his first season with the Dutch side, scoring 21 Eredivisie goals and helping Feyenoord win the league title for the first time since 1999. Jorgensen's best years are still ahead of him and he could become one of Goodison Park's greatest goal scorers if Koeman can get a deal done.

As well as his strong finishing, the forward can pick out a pass and also has strength on the ball.
