Bachelor in Paradise Abruptly Suspends Production After Alleged Misconduct

Production of ABC's "Bachelor in Paradise" has been suspended after allegations of misconduct, according to a spokesperson for the show.

Besides shutting down production, Warner Bros. has launched a full investigation on the incident. "We have suspended production and we are conducting a thorough investigation of these allegations".

Cast members have been sent home until the investigation is complete and there have been suggestions the series will be cancelled.

No additional information regarding the nature of the stated allegations of misconduct has been released.

Since then, it's been an all-out spiral of information while fans, media, and Warner Bros. try to get to the bottom of what happened.

The female "Bachelor in Paradise" contestant involved in the possible sexual assault reportedly doesn't remember what happened. However, other cast members alerted her to what transpired on set.

"DeMario was in the pool", the source said. TMZ reports the two were set up with alcohol and told to go at it. The website says she blames producers and has hired a lawyer. However, ABC has yet to comment about the show's fate.

"Bachelor in Paradise" features alumni from "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette". The contestants live together at a beach house, "hoping to turn a potential summer fling into the real thing".

Production of Season 4 of BiP was shut down last week after contestant Corinne Olympios said that she did not give consent to have sexual relation with DeMario Jackson.

"Here's most of the cast at the airport an hour ago", he wrote.

"They told us that we'd be considered for future seasons and opportunities in the franchise, but that this adventure was probably over". "Still don't know what's going on".

Bachelor alums Raven Gates and Robby Hayes have also tweeted about the incident.

Bachelor in Paradise season four contestants - including Jack Stone, Astrid Loch and Iggy Rodriguez - didn't appear too bothered about being sent back to their respective hometowns.
