Liam Gallagher Slams Brother Noel for Missing One Love Manchester Concert”

Liam Gallagher has slammed his brother Noel in a sweary Twitter rant for failing to join him at the One Love Manchester benefit gig.

Rumors swirled that the members of Oasis, who are Manchester natives, would reunite to support Ariana Grande and the victims of the terrorist attack in their hometown.

The "Yellow" hitmaker also thanked Liam for performing "Live Forever" with him and Coldplay guitarist Jonny Buckland, a poignant moment which was one of the highlights of the magical evening.

More than an hour after his initial string of tweets, though, Martin returned to Twitter with bandmate Jonny Buckland in tow, throwing in a "thank you" to Liam and adding: "That was awesome".

In a series of scathing tweets, the Oasis frontman accused Noel of hiding from the One Love Manchester event.

"Manchester id like to apologise for my brothers absence last night very disappointed stay attractive stay safe", he continued.

"Noels out of the f-king country weren't we all", he wrote. "And for lending us those incredible songs. love cm". At the event Sunday night, Coldplay paid tribute to the Manchester group, covering "Don't Look Back in Anger" for Ariana Grande and joining Liam for a rendition of "Live Forever".

In a statement released last week, a spokesperson for Noel confirmed that he wouldn't be able to attend due to a "longstanding family trip".

Liam Gallagher thrilled the crowds by giving a surprise performance at the One Love Manchester concert.

Regarding the concert from Sunday night, the British Red Cross announced that they have been able to raise nearly $3 million during the show.

Last week Liam told a British newscaster that he was on board for an Oasis reunion but Noel was not interested.

Gallagher had already downplayed plans of an Oasis reunion during a recent question and answer session, saying the prospect of working with Noel "bores the death" out of him. "He's part of the establishment".
