Louis man accused of triple homicide still at largeā€

St. Louis Metropolitan Police said Friday charges were filed against 28-year-old Jerome Leon Buress, Jr. wanted in connection with a quadruple shooting earlier this month. The 5-year-old was not injured.

28, is charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action, assault, shooting a firearm at or from a motor vehicle and tampering with a witness.

According to Leah Freeman, a police spokeswoman, the shooting occurred June 1 around 3:50 p.m.in the 4900 block of Beacon Avenue; that's in the Walnut Park East neighborhood.

Authorities allege Buress killed 27-year-old Derrick Irving and 24-year-old Jessica Garth, the parents of wounded 7-year-old Deniya Irving.

The girl remained hospitalized in serious condition Saturday.
