More Final Fantasy XV DLC Announcements Expected At Gamescom 2017”

Final Fantasy XIV Director Naoki Yoshida while speaking to Kotaku revealed that he will surely bring the game on Nintendo Switch and Xbox One console if the game can have cross-play capability.

During the broadcast, we learned that Square Enix has opted not to disclose some information during E3, and is instead planning "large scale" things for the summer. The lack of news at E3 might make it seem as if Square Enix has slowed down for a while, that's far from the case.

"If we are able to come to some sort of agreement, a handshake so to speak, or if it does end up being that unfortunately we can't do a handshake with Final Fantasy XIV, either way we'll make sure to communicate with our players".

That's not all, as Tabata-san also revealed that Monster of the Deep: Final Fantasy XV isn't the only virtual reality experience the team is now working on.

YouTube channel NoClip has published the first part of its documentary on the development, fall, resurrection, and success of Final Fantasy XIV. There is at least one more that will focus heavily on battle related content.

If you want to see more, you can check out some lovely screenshots from the upcoming DLC Episode Prompto, a new trailer, and gameplay footage.

Cross-play is now in Final Fantasy XIV for both PS4 and the PC, and Yoshida wants that to be able to happen with the other systems should they be brought in.
