The comedian confirmed the news himself via Facebook live chat where he announced his return on the show, saying he missed being on the show a lot. Chandan said that whatever transpired between him and Kapil Sharma took some time to settle. From the last few months, the TRP has been on the downslide, but now there is hope again. And, to add to Kapil's woes, his competititor Krushna Abhishek is ready with his new show The Drama Company, which also stars Kapil's former co-stars Ali Asgar and Sugandha Mishra.

Few weeks ago, Ali Asgar, cited out the reason behind why he quit the show. Yes, I had some issues with Kapil, but we are brothers and go back a long way. "My character wasn't going anywhere and it was becoming stagnant and I felt there was no scope for creative improvement", reported news agency IANS.
