Three people people are dead following a late-night collision in Mississauga. A 40-year-old man was also killed.

Const. Bancroft Wright of Peel Regional police said two children, aged 4 and 12, died while en route to a hospital. He was the sole occupant of that vehicle.

It happened just before 11 p.m. Sunday on Winston Churchill Blvd. between North Service Rd. and the QEW.

The Mercedes was carrying a driver and four children. The two other children in the van were taken to a local trauma centre. One child is in hospital with serious injuries and the fourth is listed in critical condition.
