Kevin Durant trolled haters by rocking an incredible championship cupcake hat

Kevin Durant trolled haters by rocking an incredible championship cupcake hat”

If you follow the National Basketball Association then you know Kevin Durant's story.

When Durant returned to play in Oklahoma City this season, the fans embraced the nickname with cupcake signs and costumes directed toward their former beloved star. Well, after Durant helped lead the Golden State Warriors to their second championship in three years, he chose to take a shot back at Westbrook with a very special custom hat.

Russell Westbrook, the NBA's prince of passive-aggressiveness, posted an Instagram picture of a bunch of cupcakes.

Yes, it was the Fourth of July, however, it turns out the term cupcake was something that players on Oklahoma City (and other teams) used to call players soft. On Saturday, however, KD and the ring atop his cupcake had the last laugh. Oh, in case you missed it, that's a ring on top of the cupcake, instead of a cherry. But Durant's hat may surpass the "Kermit sipping tea" hat that Cleveland's LeBron James wore after the Cavaliers won the National Basketball Association title last season.

At a charity softball game hosted by teammate JaVale McGee, Durant showed up wearing a hat with a cupcake on it...with one noteworthy addition.
