Lauren Jauregui : Fifth Harmony won't change their name”

Cabello's absence has done little to stop Fifth Harmony's momentum.

"Regardless, we were all very united in the fact that we didn't want to change the name", she said.

A lot of social media users decided after Camila left that they should modify the name to the fourth harmony.

When asked by MTV News if they ever thought about changing it, both Ally and Normani responded by saying, "Absolutely not", before Lauren explained that they never gave a potential name change any real consideration.

Dinah adds, "To stand beside three other girls and to know that they are going through the same thing, we were each other's crutch". "It's who we our, it's our whole moment".

"We felt like, within ourselves, like no, Fifth Harmony is the name we grew with and we worked for and it's our brand". "We genuinely do have a love and respect for each other and I think we've just grown so much over the course of the last four to five years". However, Cabello was quick to debunk the allegations and said that she and her co-members have already talked about her decision to leave the band and pursue her solo career. The singer has since released her own solo music, specifically the single "Crying in the Club," and has discussed her plans to continue as a solo artist.

"The fans named us Fifth Harmony", she said.

While Fifth Harmony isn't looking for another member, they've got quite a few applications to join the group - including one from Noah Cyrus.
