Apple iPhone 8 Calls For AR Revolution!

Apple iPhone 8 Calls For AR Revolution!”

It develops the technology of different uses: augmented reality, clinical research, physical training, and linguistics. The company hopes to eliminate the annoying search for a ruler or having to guess while measuring furniture, clothing, or your living space.

With its new ARKit augmented reality development platform, AAPL is planning to take AR mainstream in iOS 11.

The applications use the camera to measure distances and are shown alongside tape measures to indicate their accuracy. Apple legal covers the new logo under worldwide class 09 which covers augmented reality smartglasses, 3D spectacles and headsets supporting access to the net and telephony with the latter supported by a 2016 patent filing.

We don't know exactly when the app will be released, but you should expect AR Measure to launch on iOS sometime this fall. The unofficial game seems to allow users to place blocks, and you can even destroy blocks just like you'd on regular Minecraft.

A recent demo even used ARKit to display a rendering of the new iPhone.

The demo video below starts by measuring ... a tape measure, just to give an idea of the accuracy, then shows how easily you can measure things like furniture.

iOS 11 and ARKit are already available to beta testers and developers, but a public beta for the new operating system should become available in the next few days. Will the iPhone 8 live up to its AR expectations?
