Moto X4 may not be launched this month, find out why?”

Two weeks back, we reported that Motorola sent out media invites for an event on June 27, where the Lenovo-owned company is expected to launch the Moto Z2 and Z2 Force. However, renowned leakster Andri Yatim has something else to say. Motorola X4 which was rumored to launch in June this year will be delayed due to some technical difficulties.

For those patiently awaiting the arrival of the Moto X4, June 30 will be anticlimactic.

Motorola had introduced the Moto E4 and the Moto E4 Plus earlier this month, and both are now available Amazon in the UK. The demand for its mid-range chipset Snapdragon 660 chip has far outstripped its supply.

The same leakster previously disclosed some of the specs and features of the Moto X4.

The Moto Z2 Force will have a 5.5-inch shatterproof display like the Moto Z Force and will be limited to the USA itself. The device is said to feature a posh build with glass and metal sandwiched body along with the IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

Talking about the Moto Z2, it may get announced or the company just decides to tease the device. As for the specs, it is likely to be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 paired with Adreno 540 GPU. Also, the Moto Z2 will pack a smaller battery because it's expected to have the same thickness of 5.2mm as the Moto Z. Motorola is looking for a thinner smartphone because of the support for the Moto Mods at the back, which make the smartphone look a bit thicker when attached.

As a reminder the Moto E4 Plus comes with a quad core MediaTek MT6737 processor and 3GB of RAM, it also has 16GB of included storage.
