Tom Ince signs for English Premier League new boys, Huddersfield Town”

The former England Under-21 worldwide has put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Terriers, who won the Championship play-off final when they beat Reading on penalties to secure promotion. Palmer is something of a fan favourite at Huddersfield and he himself had made his intentions to return to the John Smith's Stadium very clear on social media.

Ince, 25, is Huddersfield's fourth summer signing and the third new player to arrive since they went up from the Championship for the first time.

Huddersfield have turned midfielder Aaron Mooy's season-long loan from Manchester City into a permanent deal for a club record £8million, rising to £10m with add-ons, and paid a reported £3.5m to sign Belgian striker Laurent Depoitre from Porto.

His manager, David Wagner also spoke about his new signing, expressing his joy and tipping him for great things to come.

The son of former England global Paul Ince, Tom began his career at Liverpool but came to prominence at Blackpool before joining Hull and then Derby.

Ince featured in the top flight for Crystal Palace and Hull before dropping down a level to join County permanently in 2015 after an initial loan spell.

"We are delighted to welcome Ope Sports as the Club's official shirt sponsor", said Dean Hoyle, chairman at Huddersfield Town.

His contract with the Royals expired last month and the 28-year-old defensive midfielder has signed a two-year deal with David Wagner's men.
