Bear Attacks Camper In Boulder County, Wildlife Officials Track Bear”

A teenager was bitten and dragged by a bear while camping in Boulder County Saturday night.

The 18 or 19-year-old was bitten on the head and dragged by the bear while camping at Glacier View Ranch in Ward.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife is in the process of tracking down the bear.

The victim suffered big gashes on his head.

Wildlife officials worked on Sunday to track down the bear. The bear ran off.

The teen told FOX31 Denver that his survival skills saved his life.

CPW said crews are now hunting the bear and it will be put down because it is considered risky. Because it is considered risky, it will be put down.

The ordeal happened at Glacier View Ranch, with KCNC reports is a Christian retreat northwest of Boulder.
