Jill Duggar Gives Birth, Welcomes Second Child With Derick Dillard

Jill Duggar Gives Birth, Welcomes Second Child With Derick Dillard”

Jill Duggar gave birth to her second baby on Saturday, July 8 - welcoming a son named Samuel with her husband Derick Dillard! We hope he's excited for his new gig as a big brother!

It was learned just yesterday that Jill had gone into labor.

The Duggar clan just got larger-again!

Jill and Derick Dillard are celebrating the birth of the newest member of the Duggar clan.

We can't wait until Jill and Derick share baby Samuel's first photos!

Another comment reads, "Let's hope next time she schedules a c section". "The newest addition to our family arrived on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 1:02pm. Samuel is 9 pounds, 10-ounces and 22" long. The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists dispels that myth stating, "It was once thought that if a woman had one cesarean delivery, all of her babies should be born that way".

Jill Duggar gave birth in a hospital after failing to deliver following 40 hours of labor, most likely at home; Jill had said in the past she hoped to have a home birth after delivering Israel through C-section.

The Counting On stars are already parents to two-year-old son Israel, aka Izzy, and even though he might be too young to really know what the duties of becoming a big brother entails, his grandparents and his parents are sure that he'll fit into the role just fine.

Jill and Derick's first son, Israel was born in April 2015.

Jill Duggar's baby boy is here!

Nearly eight hours after Jill gave birth to a attractive 9 pound, 10-ounce baby boy, her husband, Derick, posted a photo of their newborn son on both Twitter and Instagram.

Nevertheless, the photo caption did not stop fans from speculating that the couple are going to announce the arrival of their second child in a "Counting On" special episode. Many Duggar fans expect the family of four to return to Central America after the birth to continue their missionary work.
