Man United target wants to leave Monaco this summer”

It is also claimed in the same report that Fabinho is a transfer target for Arsenal this summer.

United have focused their efforts on signing a striker as the priority, with a £75million fee reportedly agreed with Everton.

Brazilian midfielder Fabinho has been the subject of a second bid from French giants Paris Saint-Germain, however, the offer was quickly turned down by Monaco who are reluctant to see more players leave the club.

Fabinho has surprisingly not been involved in Brazil's most recent internationals, with Tite staying with the settled side that has fired them to the top of the South American qualifying group and a place in Russian Federation.

According to France Football, that could let in Arsenal with manager Arsene Wenger having already taken an interest in Fabinho's teammates Kylian Mbappe and Thomas Lemar.

Man United have expressed their interest in Fabinho's services and after PSG's bid was rejected, they are now winning the race to bring the 23-year-old to Old Trafford. And with four years still to run on his contract, Monaco are unlikely to allow Fabinho to leave without being significantly financially rewarded.

The Arsenal supremo showed a huge statement of intent after securing the club record signing of Alexandre Lacazette earlier this week and it appears the Frenchman is now hoping to further strengthen his midfield options.
