Ron Howard Shares New Photo of Chewbacca From Han Solo Prequel”

It looks as though Chewbacca isn't alone...

In tweeting images from the set of the the upcomingHan Solo movie, the film's new director perhaps mistakenly showed two Wookiees in an intimate moment, perhaps a kiss.

Howard's photo shows Suatamo as the actor checks a shot he just did for the Star Wars standalone.

That's right - another wookiee will appear in the "Han Solo" spin-off.

But if you look closely, you can also catch a glimpse of the scene that Chewbacca just shot. The monitor is partially obscured, but a bit of enhancing reveals something peculiar about the image (via SWNN).

But what's that? Another wookiee?

"Movies are very personal, and art is very personal, and for people to try to turn that into something that is salacious or something that will get clicks is frustrating and sad for me because I know that [movies] mean a lot to everyone involved".

Could this be a far more bittersweet note, with Chewbacca leaving his wookiee pals behind to fulfil his life debt to Han Solo?

But it's great to see Chewie getting some screen time. Woody Harrelson is attached to play Han's mentor, a man by the name of Beckett, while Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke, Westworld's Thandie Newton, The Wire's Michael K. Williams and Fleabag's Phoebe Waller-Bridge are set for undisclosed roles.

The Untitled Han Solo movie will open in theaters on May 25, 2018.
