West Ham United move closer to Javier Hernandez deal?

West Ham United move closer to Javier Hernandez deal?”

The Hammers have turned their attentions to landing the Bayer Leverkusen star to solve their problems up front.

England keeper Joe Hart last night completed his medical ahead of his loan move to West Ham from Manchester City, and once the deal to sign Hart for a season-long loan is confirmed, boss Slaven Bilic will look to move on one of his keepers.

It is understood that the forward has a £13million release clause in his contract with German club Leverkusen and West Ham are prepared to make him their highest paid player.

The Mexican global has previously experience in the Premier League, having played for Manchester United between 2010 and 2014. The Hammers lacked a permanent goal threat last season in their side and the injury-prone Andy Carroll can't be relied upon for the main source of goals.

But according to the Mirror, West Ham hope to finalise a move and are closer to securing Chicharito's services.

And senior club officials are set for more talks with his advisors, which are expected today.

Which striker is the most lethal in Premier League history? He also claims that the signature and announcement could happen "in the next few hours". Hernandez would bring a freshness to the starting line-up and may feel he has a point to prove in coming back to the Premier League.

It has been suggested that while the East London outfit do not want to meet Hernandez's demands on a weekly basis, they are willing to include attractive bonuses for the 29-year-old.
