Rogue Trooper Redux - 2006 versus 2017 Graphics Comparison Trailer

Rebellion has revealed a new trailer for Rogue Trooper Redux, a remaster of the critically acclaimed third person shooter from 2006.

The detailed new "Graphics Comparison" trailer combines and compares cut scene and gameplay footage from the original Rogue Trooper game (2006) with the new remaster, highlighting the overhaul given to the game by Rebellion's in-house developers in conjunction with United Kingdom studio TickTock Games.

If you need any incentive to revisit Rogue Trooper (assuming you drudged through it once, more than a decade ago), then a new comparison video has been released.

Rogue Trooper Redux will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 17, developer Rebellion announced. There'll also be remastered cutscenes, new lighting effects and graphical improvements to the level geometry. Interestingly, it will also be coming to Nintendo Switch but a release date hasn't been confirmed for the same.

If you happen to be at San Diego Comic Con you'll be able to get hands-on with 2000AD's blue-skinned GI this week.
