Middle-earth: Shadow of War 'Shelob' trailer

Middle-earth: Shadow of War 'Shelob' trailer”

Warner Bros. and Monolith Productions have released a new trailer for Middle-earth: Shadow of War introducing Shelob. The trailer focuses on Shelob, a giant spider and spawn of Ungoliant.

Incidentally, during the panel we also learned that The Walking Dead star Pollyanna McIntosh will play Shelob in the game. She appears in humanoid form to grant Talion a vision about his own destiny and the fate of the whole Middle-earth. Celebrimbor, crafter of the rings of power and now the wraith guiding Talion, urges the Ranger to be distrustful of her prophecy, even as the fate of Minas Ithil and the world of men hang in the balance.

The story of Shadow of War follows Talion and Celebrimbor as they use one of the Rings of Power to amass an army to defeat Sauron, who's shown up again and is behaving all evil. The game is expected to launch on Xbox One, Windows 10 and PlayStation 4. The Shadow of War gameplay stream also gave us a new look at the Wraith Skills which the players will be able to invest points in and utilize during their journey through the game world.
