David Silva agrees Las Palmas deal?”

Elgoldigital claim that the long serving Manchester City playmaker is in discussions with the La Liga club regarding a possible move back to his native Gran Canaria.

Diario AS cites a report in Elgoldigital which claims Los Amarillos reached a verbal agreement with the Spain worldwide this summer regarding a deal in two years time.

He has already rejected several lucrative offers from Spain as he is committed to his current City deal. The Spanish worldwide has established himself as one of the most gifted attacking midfielders in the league, helping the Sky Blues to their first Premier league title in the 2011/12 season.

New Manchester City signing Bernardo Silva has revealed that ex-Manchester United stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani gave him advice about living in the city.

In that time, the midfielder has also won two European Championships and the World Cup with Spain.

The 31-year-old joined Man City from Valencia in 2010, going on to make over 300 appearances for the new club, but he always maintained his desire to hang up his boots at Las Palmas.

Silva's place in the City team has come under threat this season with the £43m signing of namesake Bernardo from Monaco.

"Of course, they played for United, but they said that both clubs are wonderful and that I would enjoy the Premier League because it's the best league, the stadiums are always full, and the people love football".
