NYC socialite charged with 'Smoothie Shack' burglary”

Two people from Manhattan, including the daughter of two world famous NY ballet dancers, were arrested last week after allegedly breaking into three stores in Camden and stealing over $1,000 in cash.

She is the socialite daughter of a prominent New York City couple; her mother, Darci Kistler, is former principal dancer with the New York City Ballet and her father, Peter Martins, is a famous Danish choreographer and current chief of the Metropolitan Ballet Company.

Talicia Martins, 21, and one of her Big Apple buddies hit up three businesses in the tony summer enclave of Camden, according to the Bangor Daily News.

Police say Martins is charged with one count of burglary and felony theft, while Flanagan is charged with three counts of both burglary and felony theft. They were arrested after police released surveillance video of them.

The duo made off with $2,000 after knocking over Smoothie Shack, Francine Bistro and Camden Cone, police said.

Martins, who was charged with burglary and felony theft, could also face jail time due to a June6 arrest for allegedly being caught with crack, heroin and a hypodermic needle.

Both are now out on $1,500 bail and awaiting their next court date. Phone numbers for the pair couldn't be located, and the phone rang unanswered at the home of Martins' parents.

Camden Police Department Detective Curt Andrick told the ME newspaper drugs and alcohol were a factor in the burglaries, but would not provide further details.
