White House aide: 'There's no such thing as a lone wolf'

White House aide: 'There's no such thing as a lone wolf'”

"Look it's not about economics, it's not about being disenfranchised, it's about people who have an ideology that is evil and has to be destroyed". "That was a phrase invented by the last administration to make Americans stupid".

When pressed again why he was tweeting about other topics but declining to weigh in on the incident in Minnesota, Gorka said it wasn't his job to school the President on social media, because Trump had demonstrated his expertise on that medium by winning the election.

"There has never been, never been a serious attack. or a serious plot that was unconnected from ISIS or al Qaeda, at least through the ideology and the TTPs - the tactics, the training, the techniques, and the procedures - that they supply through the Internet".

Gorka, the ex-national security editor for the conservative Breitbart News, is known for his hardline views on Islam and terrorism. Velshi insisted most terrorist attacks on USA soil and in Europe are not directly connected to ISIS and are considered "lone wolf lunatics".

"That black flag of ISIS has to be globally rejected like the swastika, and we'll work with Muslim partners to overtly and covertly delegitimize their message".

Gorka disputed the existence of right-wing extremists - who have reportedly carried out almost twice as many terrorist attacks in the USA over the past decade than Islamic militants - when he was asked why the White House had not commented on a mosque bombing in Minnesota.

After he was reminded that the president had commented on the London attacks long before additional information was available, Gorka simply justified the president's move by saying that if an attacker "shouts" something as they are inflicting harm, it's clear who's behind the atrocity.

"When we have some kind of finalized investigation, absolutely", Gorka said of whether Trump would respond to the bombing at the Dar al-Farooq Islamic Center in Bloomington. "Let's allow the local authorities to provide their assessment, and then the White House will make its comments", he added. "We've had a series of crimes committed, alleged hate crimes, by right-wing individuals in the last six months, that turned out to actually have been propagated by the left".

Gorka was asked how US President Donald Trump plans to prevent "lone-wolf lunatics" from carrying out attacks around the world even if the main IS organization is destroyed. "Wouldn't you say so?"

Of the explosion at the Minnesota mosque, Gorka said, "People fake hate crimes".
