Malachi Dupre Stretchered Off Field After Brutal Hit”

A receiver took a nasty shot on Thursday.

.

Green Bay Packers rookie Malachi Dupre was taken off the field on a stretcher after being hit during his preseason debut on Thursday.

Dupre dropped to the field after a big hit from Eagles safety Tre Sullivan in the fourth quarter.

Both teams were down on a knee looking on with great concern as the severity of the injury was unclear.

The crowd cheered as Dupre gave a thumbs up and appeared to make a praying hand motion as he left the field. A few minutes later, the Packers officially updated his status.

Dupre does have movement and feeling in all his extremities, the Packers said on Twitter.

It was Dupre's first game with the Packers, and he was competing for a job on the regular season roster.
