Mithila Palkar, who is popular for her work in web series like Girl In The City and Little Things, has been roped in to play the female lead.

Reports from the tinsel town say that Malayalam's favourite young star Dulquer Salmaan is all set to make his Bollywood debut through an Irrfan Khan starrer, directed by debutant moviemaker Akarsh Khurana. The charming star is one of the finest actors in South. Fans are excited to see Dulquer and Irrfan as both of them are powerhouse performers in their respective films.

Dulquer's father Mammootty has also been a part of a couple of Bollywood movies, having made his Hindi debut as a hero in Dhartiputra in the '90s. This film is written by Hussain Dalal, the writer of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and 2 States, and will be directed by debutante Akarsh Khurana. "The film rolls by the month end in Kerala", Mumbai Mirror quoted a source as saying. Let's hope that the son has better luck.

Filmmaker-producer Karan Johar on Saturday unveiled a new teaser for Solo, director Bejoy Nambiar's anthology film, starring Dulquer Salmaan.

The 31-year-old actor has delivered critically acclaimed and commercially successful films in Malayalam and Tamil since his 2012 debut, Second Show. He is also playing an important role in actor Soubin Shahir's directorial debut Parava.
