PDP going back to Villa ―Fayose

PDP going back to Villa ―Fayose”

But the perennial popularity seeking Ekiti governor, Ayo Fayose will not allow the zoning arrangement hold him back as he stormed the Eagle Square, Abuja venue of PDP National Convention dressed in vest announcing his interest in being the next occupier of Aso Rock presidential villa.

Ekiti state Governor Ayodele Fayose has today, Saturday dished out some words of assurance from the People's Democratic Party's National Convention that the former ruling party will return to apex governance in Nigeria by 2019.

"When you come to the Villa in 2019, I will receive you warmly", he told the party members.

Giving his goodwill message, Fayose said he would be at the presidential villa to receive Nigerians in 2019. He, however, said that the APC has done one year and must, therefore, go so that PDP will take over and deliver to Nigerians. I'm the next president. "My own won't be this change that has brought nothing, we are going to represent the people well and tell them the truth", Fayose had said. "Those people there, at Aso Rock, they don't know what they are doing".

Nigeria's biggest opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has never hidden the fact that it has zoned its 2019 presidential ticket to the Northern part of the country.

"I want our young ones to know that they can get out of poverty through right-thinking, innovation and productivity".

Fayose had consistently displayed his hatred for Buhari and had on many occasions wished the President was dead.

The PDP says that it will continue to pray for the full recovery of President Muhammadu Buhari.

He made this statement at the ongoing PDP National Non-elective convention at the Eagles Square, Abuja.

"We mean well for our president". We will work hard to win the 2019 elections, " he said.

Makarfi commended the security agencies for ensuring that the convention was conducted in a secured environment.
