Sharon Stone Shares a Sexy Scene from Her Basic Instinct Audition Tapes”

This week she shared her audition for the 1992 thriller "Basic Instinct" that made her household name.

Before she was a star. before she received an Oscar nomination for "Casino" and Golden Globe nominations for "The Muse" and "The Mighty,". before that infamous interrogation scene sent tongues wagging.

The video shows the blonde bombshell back in her 20s, lighting a cigarette before reciting lines with director Paul Verhoeven.

Sharon Stone seems grateful for the worldwide recognition gained from a single scene from Paul Verhoeven's film, Basic Instinct. In fact, 13 other women were considered for the role, including Julia Roberts.

"[Catherine Tramell] was not an easy part to get", she said.

"So it wasn't like I got there and everyone was like, 'Yay, she's here!' It was like, 'Mm.' But I knew walking on that set that I was enough".
