Shaw still loved at Manchester United

Shaw still loved at Manchester United”

There has been speculation recently that Shaw could head to Tottenham Hotspur as part of a move that would see fellow left-back Danny Rose make the switch to Old Trafford.

The 22-year-old has only made 47 appearances in all competitions across three campaigns, and started just nine Premier League matches in 2016-17.

The England worldwide struggled under Jose Mourinho last season and played just once between November and March, despite being fit.

Shaw is now sidelined with an injury but has returned to first team training after working his rehabilitation separately on the pre-seaosn tour.

The 22-year-old left-back, now out with injury, has been at the centre of speculation linking him with a move away from Old Trafford.

The defender suffered a horror leg break in 2015 which halted his Red Devils career.

Manchester United are keen on Rose, a move which would pose questions over the long term future of Luke Shaw. Furthermore, a rumoured swap deal involving Rose and Shaw has been reported.

But Shaw's agent, Jonathan Barnett, has insisted that the player has no intention of leaving the club: "Luke Shaw is going to be one of the best left-backs in the world", Barnett told the International Business Times.
