Newcastle Move For Wilshere and Lucas Perez”

Newcastle have reportedly made a renewed approach for Wilshere and Perez with both made surplus to requirements by manager Arsene Wenger.

The England worldwide, who spent last season on loan at Bournemouth, did not make the Gunners squad for their opening-day victory against Leicester and could be set for a permanent exit.

However, the Englishman, who spent the last campaign on loan at Bournemouth is said to have other options, including Premier League rivals Swansea.

Serie A giants Sampdoria have been touted as a potential destination for him, while Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and West Ham have also been tipped to secure a summer swoop. Instead of fighting his way back into the side, it's more likely he'll move on elsewhere and leave fans wondering what might have been.

Newcastle are believed to be interested in snapping up the 25-year-old, but his arrival would take a sizeable chunk out of Rafael Benitez's transfer budget. Arsenal want £20m for Wilshere and will not loan him out for another season, whereas as Perez is open for a loan move.

Newcastle have struggled to get Benitez's top targets so far this summer, but if Wilshere was to join, he would become the sixth new arrival at St. James' Park during the transfer window to date.
