Recuerdan a Fidel Castro en su natalicio”

13 de agosto de 2017, 18:27Quito, 13 ago (PL) La Asociación de Cubanos Residentes en Ecuador (Acure) recordó hoy al líder histórico de la Revolución de ese país caribeño, Fidel Castro, fallecido el pasado 25 de noviembre y quien cumpliría hoy 91 años.

Apasionado fidelista, Martínez no se da por vencido, y en la actualidad escribe y conduce en la emisora internacional Radio Habana Cuba un espacio denominado "Fidel y la Economía Mundial", que se transmite semanalmente.

Añadió que esas historias evidencian su vocación humanista y confianza en el ser humano, en particular sobre aquellas mujeres que en su mayoría pertenecen a la FMC.

Por su parte, el agregado cultural cubano Waldo Leyva leyó un poema de Juan Gelman a Fidel, mientras los artistas invitados interpretaron obras del Jesús Orta Ruiz (el Indio Naborio), de Silvio Rodríguez y Pablo Milanés, entre otros.

De acuerdo con Harris, Fidel Castro evidenció que los trabajadores pueden tener el poder, "ese fue su legado para todo el mundo, fue muy inspirador".

La jefa de la Policía Nacional, Primera Comisionada Aminta Granera, destacó que Tomás es honrado como "el revolucionario, el fundador de la policia nacional, el hombre que tanta inspiración nos ha dejado con su vida fundamentalmente, ese militante que fue consecuente hasta el último día de su vida, fue leal a su partido, a su dirigencia hasta el final de su vida, que nos inspiró cuando estuvo en la Policía y aun fuera de la Policía para trabajar y servir al pueblo".

"Tuve el inmenso honor de estar presente en muchos de esos debates y vi de cerca su enorme voluntad de estudio, la importancia que le concedió a estos temas, sobre todo como arma de denuncia contra el injusto orden económico mundial, lo cual resultó un arma también para la defensa de Cuba", evocó el exministro.

El natalicio 91 del líder de la Revolución cubana es conmemorado este domingo con diversas iniciativas en Cuba y muchos países.
