Woman says she found rodent in Chick-fil-A sandwich”

A woman is suing a Chick-Fil-A restaurant in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, after she says she discovered a dead rodent inside her sandwich. "I said to [my coworker], 'They burned my roll really bad'". Laboratory testing confirmed that the bun contained a rodent, Manafalouti's lawyer said, according to the Post. Franchisee Dave Heffernan, owner of the Langhorne location from which the sandwich came, said he could not comment on the suit because "it's an ongoing allegation and investigation", the Post reported.

"The franchise itself has never said who supplied the buns for their sandwiches", Davis said. I have given them every chance in the world to talk to me about it and give their side, ' Davis told the newspaper.

She says she followed that call up by emailing him photos and the receipt, and then went to the hospital where she received intravenous medication for nausea. She also says that ever since the incident, she's had "anxiety and nightmares". "The first month was really rough".

'They just referred it to their insurance company, who in turn has not engaged in any real conversation, ' he added. James Kwon III, who is autistic, said the manager of his local Chick-fil-A told his job-coach that the company was "not interested in hiring people with disabilities" and "people with disabilities would not be able to succeed at Chick-fil-A", according to a Fox News report. His former boss was cited in the lawsuit, saying Kwon performed his duties "diligently and capably".

Both Chick-fil-A corporate and the franchise owner declined to comment on the lawsuit.

A rep for Chick-fil-A denied any act of discrimination had taken place. Our restaurant does not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities.
