Bayern Munich records second win of the season

Bayern Munich records second win of the season”

After a goalless first half, the Bavarians finally managed to break the deadlock after the restart, through their star striker, Robert Lewandowski, who back-heeled Kingsley Coman's cross into the net.

Bayern Munich's Thomas Muller vented his frustration at only being a substitute on Saturday despite the German champions' 2-0 victory at Werder Bremen, which kept them on maximum points from two Bundesliga matches.

The Germany global has been with Bayern for his whole career and was a mainstay in the side until Carlo Ancelotti took charge at the Allianz Arena.

"Well, I don't really know what the qualities are that the coach [Carlo Ancelotti] wants to see".

"But mine seem not to be 100 percent in demand".

Muller came on after the 72nd-minute opener and laid on Lewandowski's second but was unhappy with the role he played.

"We have many games this season and know what we have in Thomas", Salihamidzic told Sky Germany.

Ancelotti explained after the game, that tactics were the only reason Muller did not start the game.

"He went in during the second part of the game and did well. It was only a technical decision", the former Real Madrid coach said.
