Five-star Cameron Reddish becomes Duke's second Class of 2018 commitment”

Five-star wing Cameron Reddish, who played on Calipari's USA Basketball U19 team earlier this summer, announced Friday that he has committed to Duke.

One of John Calipari's top targets in the class of 2018 is headed to UK's biggest recruiting rival.

The 6-foot-8 phenom hails from Norristown, Pa., and he played his ball at Westtown School. That team was coached by Kentucky's John Calipari, but Duke has always been considered the leader. Sources tell Cats Illustrated that Duke is the team to beat and it would be a surprise if he didn't pick the Blue Devils tonight.

He had consistently been a top 10 player in the national recruiting outlets, with 247 tagging the future Blue Devil as the No. 4 player out of the 2018 class, the No. 3 small forward and the consensus No. 1 player in the state of Pennsylvania. Reddish is the second recruit from the Class of 2018 to commit to Duke, not including Marvin Bagley, who reclassified to the Class of 2017 last month.

A versatile wing that can play nearly any position on the floor, Reddish could have a similar role as Jayson Tatum and Brandon Ingram in past years for Duke and will likely join current freshman Jordan Tucker as a potential impact small forward in 2018-19.
