Louise Linton Is Back and Ready to Apologize . .”

Linton, a high profile individual who is wife to U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, has been dealing with a massive backlash following the controversial comments she made on the social media network.

And announcing her apology to regular, hard-working folk for her disgusting display of luxury in a magazine that exists to push luxury negates the whole ill-conceived mea culpa anyway. "I sincerely take ownership of my mistake", Linton said. "It's clear that I was the one who was truly out of touch and my response was reactionary and condescending", Linton continued in the interview.

Furious that the little people would take offense that she had so shamelessly bragged about her swanky designer duds that cost more than most people make in a year, Linton became idiotically, self-righteously indignant.

Linton, who married Mnuchin in a June 2017 ceremony attended by the president and officiated by the vice president, went on to call the woman "adorably out of touch" and her children and life "cute".

"I want to say I concede completely to the comments of my critics", Linton said in an exclusive interview for the magazine.

But weeks later, she chose to do another interview and pose in ball gowns by Ines di Santo and Jason Wu anyway. I hope my actions speak more for me in the future than my hashtags!

She also questioned her Instagram critics' "sacrifice" to the nation, both in tax dollars and and personal "self-sacrifice". It was an out of character, knee-jerk reaction, and I felt so terrible about it that I removed it. My husband is very fortunate to be part of the government. "I would ask her about the causes that are important to her and perhaps find something that we could work on together in the spirit of unity and love". "It is a great honor and privilege and in no way is his work, or my part in this, any kind of sacrifice".

"I don't have any excuses, nor do I feel any self-pity for the backlash I experience", Linton said. I know you're mad but deep down you're really nice and so am I. Sending me passive aggressive Instagram comments isn't going to make life feel better.

"I was just trying to portray what I thought was a public image that isn't me", she said. She was called out for having a "let them eat cake" attitude, and chastised for wealth-shaming.

To really underscore her point, Linton wore a sweatshirt, leggings and no makeup to the interview and claimed that "This is me", pointing to her outfit, which seems like the kind of thing a mother of three from OR might wear.
