During her visit, Sushma Sawaraj besides being a part of the forum will hold bilateral meetings with the Russia's Deputy Prime Minister Yury Trutnev, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Governors of some of the Far Eastern Regions, among other engagements.

As scheduled, Binh will deliver a welcome speech at the opening of the third Eastern Economic Forum on September 6.

According to a tweet by the Indian Embassy in Russia, Sushma Swaraj also said that there was no way this friendship could get weak.

Besides, Vladimir Putin marked the advantages of the potential involvement of South Korean companies in the construction of infrastructure facilities in Russian Federation, including the modernisation of Far Eastern ports and shipyards and the joint development of the Northern Sea Route.

"India invested $5.5 billion in the oil sector in Russian Federation".

Earlier in the day, she addressed the third Eastern Economic Forum, which is aimed at improving relations between the worldwide investment community, Russian business and federal and local governments. "We have been partners for seven decades, and our friendship has expanded to nearly all sectors of human activity", Swaraj said.

"Politically, India has the best of relations with Russian Federation".

"There has been no better time to engage with India".
