According to reports by ANI, the train got derailed around 11:45 AM on September 7.

At least seven coaches of Shaktipunj Express travelling from Jabalpur to Howrah derailed near Sonbhadra dictrict in Uttar Pradesh early this morning even as in another incident the Delhi-bound Rajdhani went off the tracks near Minto bridge hours.

A high-speed passenger train derailed in the Indian capital Thursday, railway officials said. "All the passengers are safe as only the engine and the generator vehicle were derailed", said Anshul Gupta, DRM, Northern Railways. "Train was near station and hence slow".

As per reports, the accident happened near Delhi's Minto Bridge when engine and power vehicle of Ranchi Rajdhani Express derailed.

An inquiry has been ordered to look into the reason behind the derailment. "All of them are safe and no one was injured in the accident", Saxena said.

This was third derailment incident in the state in less than a month.

About 100 passengers were wounded when 10 coaches of Kaifiyat Express train derailed after crashing into a dumper which strayed on to the tracks in Auraiya district on August 23.

And on August 19, 14 coaches of Utkal Express derailed in the same state, killing at least 24 people and injuring over 150 others.
