Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane sends support to Ederson

Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane sends support to Ederson”

Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson was stretchered off in Saturday's clash with Liverpool after colliding with Sadio Mane.

45+6' - GOAL! Manchester City 2-0 Liverpool (Jesus).

"We both had chances, but the game was equal". The second goal helped us a lot.

De Bruyne's pass released Aguero to round Simon Mignolet and open the scoring in the 24th minute and his cross from the left was headed in by Jesus in first-half stoppage time.

Halliday turned to Moss after Klopp's gesture. Accident or not it is a red card. "I don't think it was a red card, Sadio didn't see the goalkeeper", he added.

'The keeper comes out.

Liverpool were 1-0 down and in the 37th minute Mane found himself running through on goal in chase of the bouncing ball.

"I think it has not broken the bone".

It was 3-0 shortly after the re-star as Fernandinho released Aguero, who squared for Jesus to slot home.

"De Bruyne's pass for Aguero's opener and the cross to Jesus for City's second ensured it was going to be a comfortable second half for Manchester City".

"I will try to ignore the result - not the mistakes but the result". We are a lucky team, a lucky club to have Kevin with us.

"We should have scored". He just wanted to get the ball as soon as possible.

"Then with one man down it was a hard situation". All that can really be said for certain is that it poleaxed Ederson and left a clutch of City players frantically waving for medical assistance.

Liverpool's response to the red card did not exactly offer great encouragement about the competitive courage of this team. "I'm not sure. We will see", he said.

"We had all we needed at 11v11. Everybody saw it", he said.

Meanwhile, The Reds sent Arsenal fans into meltdown after thrashing Arsene Wenger's Gunners 4-0 at Anfield nearly a fortnight ago, with Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Daniel Sturrdige all getting on the scoresheet.

In four transfer windows, the German manager has only spent 5 million euros (BBC) to sign one center half in the form of Ragnar Klavan, who has proved to be an average defender. As red cards go, however, this one will always polarise opinion.

"But I'm not concerned in the long term".

"And then you felt the intensity lacking from the boys who played last week [during the worldwide break]".

Either way, Mane walking off the pitch changed the game. You can talk about the rest. They created problems. Hopefully, when we play at Anfield, we can solve that.
