Eden Hazard insists Chelsea will win the Champions League this season

Eden Hazard insists Chelsea will win the Champions League this season”

He added: 'I think now it is time to win this.

Since his arrival at Stamford Bridge, Hazard has won the Europa League, League Cup and two Premier League titles - but the Champions League has been illusive.

Chelsea return to European action tomorrow against Qarabag FK after a season out in the cold.

"As a player you want to play in the Champions League but previous year, we just watched it on the TV and it was not a good feeling", he continued.

Not for the first time in recent weeks, Eden Hazard has made it clear that his ultimate goal is winning the Champions League.

'I hate having to watch it on TV, I just want to be on the pitch.

'You want to play these kind of games because every time you play in the Champions League it's a big game and everybody is watching you. I'm back and we took three points so it is a good evening for me.

Hazard is working his way back to full fitness after sitting out the summer with a broken ankle sustained on global duty in June, but he said he feels good after a lively 12-minute cameo from the substitutes' bench against Leicester. I feel ready, ready to be part of the team.

"We just want to play, you know, if some players are exhausted then another player can play so we have no problems with this". Considering that he signed with Chelsea in large part due to the club's miracle run to the final and subsequent win in Munich in 2012, this shouldn't be surprising, but only recently has he become so specific in this ambition, to add the one big trophy missing from his personal trophy cabinet. "He is a top player".

In fact, the Belgian did not even feature in the competition last time around as Chelsea did not qualify. If I win, I am happy.
