'America's Got Talent' 12: Angelica Hale, Christian Guardino Dominate Semifinals

'America's Got Talent' 12: Angelica Hale, Christian Guardino Dominate Semifinals”

On the August 22 episode, Simon Cowell said the performance by Harvey, 29, was stunning.

"I think that you are a phenomenon". Simon called the performance a "massive, massive step up". However, Mel B disagreed, explaining that, in her opinion, the song didn't showcase Celine's awesome range.

Dance group Diavolo and mind reader Colin Cloud also shocked the audiences and judges after they stepped up their performances. Mel B then chose a piece of paper from the pile and Heidi chose a specific tweet. "I hope that America agrees with me", she said. Colin successfully predicted which tweet would be picked and went undercover all week long taping videos in which he had all of the judges say those same words. Simon added, "I got goosebumps on my goosebumps on my goosebumps".

The teenager performed a slow version of Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On". Howie loves Christian. He was Howie's golden buzzer and Howie begs the viewers to vote for Christian.

The singer, who went deaf a few years ago, chose to add sign language to her performance of the original song "Release Me" during the semi-finals round on Tuesday (September 12).

Singing Ed Sheeran's "Castle on the Hill", which they dedicated to service members serving overseas, and performing some synchronized dance moves, In the Stairwell garnered a standing ovation from the four judges, Howie Mandel, Mel B., Heidi Klum and Simon Cowell.

Howie Mandel told Harvey that she "transcend hearing, and it's because of what you do". You just made it harder because it's easier when you're not good. Simon said he was "gobsmacked". Her family members were in the venue to watch her perform, Talent Recap showed in the review video posted online.

Meanwhile, Mel B made some comments to further improve her performance.

Tonight marks the second round of the America's Got Talent semifinals and even though the competition is getting more and more narrow, there are a few acts that stand out as fan favorites - and some of them may even go on to win the entire competition! Eastern time on NBC.
