Ronda Rousey 'Proud' of Shayna Baszler's WWE Work, Quiet on Own Future

Ronda Rousey 'Proud' of Shayna Baszler's WWE Work, Quiet on Own Future”

With her acting career in a stasis and her UFC future up in the air, now might be the ideal time for Rousey to make the transition. It seems Rousey will continue to have a place in the spotlight.

Ross thinks it's only a matter of time before Ronda Rousey makes an appearance in WWE, however he thinks it will be a one-off appearance.

Following her victory, Sane was presented with a bouquet of roses and the towering Mae Young Classic trophy as she stood by WWE COO Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

Rousey, also rumored to be joining her in the pro wrestling promotion, talked with ESPN after the bout but didn't want to discuss her own career; instead, focusing the attention on Baszler. In an interview afterward, Rousey was very complimentary of the WWE and their performance center.

Rousey was not willing to comment on her future as a WWE athlete at the event last night. She is nowhere near the women's championship picture in MMA, still has some mainstream star power that's attractive to WWE and is young enough that she'd have at least a handful of years to develop into an elite performer. Everything that she's done has been to prove to herself and everyone else that she deserves to be here.
