Ben Affleck joins girlfriend Lindsay Shookus at the Emmys

Ben Affleck joins girlfriend Lindsay Shookus at the Emmys”

On Saturday, the new couple, #Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus, were spotted walking arm in arm during a night out, together with Larry David. Shookus, 37, wore a lacy black outfit and heels. David kept it casual with his khaki trousers and black shirt paired with a blue jacket.

The "Argo" filmmaker and producer Lindsay Shookus opted out of making their red carpet debut as a couple at the glitzy ceremony, which honored excellence in television, but they showed no signs of trying to hide their relationship and the 45-year-old actor was elated when his partner's show, "Saturday Night Live", won the Outstanding Variety Sketch Series accolade.

The pair went public with their relationship in July.

Another source told People that Affleck and Shookus have known each other for years. "It's early and they are taking it slow". While the couple, who have been dating since earlier this summer, skipped the red carpet, Ben and Lindsay were spotted entering the venue together. Shookus was previously married to her "Saturday Night Live" colleague Kevin Miller.

Ben remains on good terms with ex-wife Jennifer who he shares three kids with.

Several delightful faces were spotted in the audience during Sunday's Primetime Emmys telecast: There was the great Oprah. Affleck was at the event to show support for his girlfriend. "He jumped up and cheered when "SNL" won. He's clearly her plus-one", the source said.

Ben Affleck spent the weekend with his girlfriend, Lindsay Shookus.
