PM Modi condoles Lok Sabha MP Mahant Chand Nath's death”

In 2014, he defeated Jitendra Singh of the Congress to became a MP from Alwar.

Chandnath was suffering from cancer and the end came at a hospital in Delhi, BJP's Rajasthan spokesperson Anand Sharma said.

Chandnath took his last breath on Saturday at around 11:45 p.m.at Delhi's Apollo Hospital.

Lok Sabha MP from Alwar and head of Rohtak's Baba Mastnath Math, Chand Nath Yogi passed away here on Sunday. Chandnath will be remembered for his contributions to the developmental works, she said.

Summary: "Saddened by the demise of LS MP from Alwar, Mahant Chandnath ji. My deepest condolences", the Prime Minister said in a tweet.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje also expressed condolences to the grieving family members.

A senior leader and former minister in Union Council of Ministers, Taslimuddin served the people, particularly those from the Lok Sabha constituencies that he represented during his long political career, in a dedicated manner, she said.
