Florida woman creates 'sexy' sign to get power restored

Florida woman creates 'sexy' sign to get power restored”

Kynse Agles' power had been out at her Fort Myers, Florida, home for days when she channeled her desperation into creativity-creating a plywood sign scrawled with a message in pink spray paint: "Hot single female seeks sexy lineman to electrify her life".

'Maybe this will work, ' she wrote hopefully alongside it.

She chose to increase her odds of getting her power back on by putting up this sign. She thanked the linemen on Facebook.

Leigh posted her message on Facebook, where it quickly went viral and sparked attention from local linemen, who scurried Monday to restore her power. After workers restored her power, she said they took a picture behind the sign and left a note. They heard me from on the radio this morning discussing my recent organ transplants! "You can't keep your home clean and keep germs out without power".

Leigh was diagnosed with stage five kidney failure in October as a result of high blood pressure that is caused by her Type 1 diabetes. She had been on the organ donor list for 100 days when she underwent the transplant August 31.

In ordinary circumstances, she said she would have waited her turn but because she is still recovering from the operation, she desperately needed power to be able to keep her house clean and cool enough.

"Eli had dreams of becoming a surgeon and was a loving young man that would give the shirt off his back and help anyone in need", she continued.

Agles says the sign appears to have worked.

"I haven't slept in my bed in 20 nights, so I'm really excited to go to sleep tonight". "I told him he can borrow my sign later".

She's just happy not to have to crash on any more couches. Her organ donor was a teen named Elijah Mayhew.

'There are 140,000 people on the organ transplant waiting list in America. FPL, the state's biggest electric company, said 204,000 customers had no power, down from more than 3.6 million on September 11.
