18-Year-Old Arrested For Murder of Another Teen

Brendan Lamb was kidnapped about 4 p.m.by Steven Magness, 40, from the 300 block of East Brunswick Drive, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said in a tweet.

Williams and his girlfriend were sitting in their vehicle around 7 p.m. Sunday evening when someone approached the auto and shot Williams multiple times in the chest.

Williams was taken to an area hospital, where he later died, police said.

Police previously said Williams was meeting another teen at the park when he was shot three times in the stomach Sunday night.

Eugene Jones, 18, was arrested Tuesday after turning himself in.

IMPD believes robbery was likely the motive.

Jones was taken to Arrestee Processing Center in Indianapolis to be processed on initial charges of murder and robbery, police said.
